　それにしても当時の日本の観客は「九龍の眼」という新作と思って観たら、前作からのエピソードをかなり引きずったストーリーで困惑したに違いない。人気DVD それ以前に本編で「THE POLICE STORY Ⅱ」のタイトルを見つけた観客も不思議に思ったことだろう。ただし本作には見応えのあるカンフー対決シーンがある。ワンピースdvd 爆弾テロ一味の中に足技に長けた男がいて、この男とジャッキーとの対決シーンは見ものだ。相手役を務めたジャッキー率いるスタントマンチーム けいおんdvd 「成龍班」のスタントコーディネーター、ベニーライ。これまでのジャッキー映画であまり観なかったスピード感あふれる足技の使い手で、この対決は一見の価値がある。
